Weider Home Gym Exercises

by Jason Johnson | Last Updated: August 27, 2021

The Weider Home Gym is well known throughout the world for its excellent quality of workout equipment. Their equipment is easy to use and affordable, and there are many different types of equipment to choose from, including treadmills, elliptical trainers, step machines, exercise bikes, resistance machines, and even rowing machines.

If you’re looking to exercise but are unsure which type of equipment you should get, there’s no reason to worry!

There is no shortage of information on the Weiders website and you can also check out all the great offers they’re offering to get the best deal possible. In this article, I’m going to tell you what some of the more popular Weider home gym exercises are.

Table of Contents

  • Exercises for the arms and back
    • Exercises for arms and chest

Exercises for the arms and back

This exercise is recommended if you want to tone your arms, shoulders, and back. You perform the workout by holding the weight in front of you with your arms crossed. You then repeat this motion, lifting the weight as high as you can.

When you first start out, you might only be able to lift weights a few pounds, so be careful not to strain yourself. Once you reach your target weight, you can increase the weights or reps as you feel stronger.

Exercises for arms and chest

If you want to work out your chest, shoulder muscles, back, and abdominals, Weider has a unique routine called the Push-Up. To perform it, you need to have a bar (the Weider uses a round dumbbell), and you push the bar up against your body. This requires good balance and body awareness, so if you’re used to doing workout exercises where you hold weight, this will be a great challenge. Push-ups are great for building chest muscle and a solid core.

This one is more intense than most Weider home gym exercises because it requires great body control. To do the Weider Front Squat, stand with a chair. Lean against the edge of the chair and put your feet flat on the ground, facing away from you. Next, lean forward until your butt is close to the floor, and lift your legs up and out in front of you. Squat down, and straighten your back.

The Weider lat pulldown is similar to the basic lat pulldown machine, but instead of holding onto the handles, you have to pull them down with your body. To do the lat pulldown, sit on the edge of the bench, with your feet hip-width apart. Let your arms hang at your sides, with your palms resting on the bench. Place your hands directly under the lat muscles and pull down until your hands become parallel with the floor.

These workouts are similar to traditional machine workouts, but the resistance is different. If you need to build bulk and strength, you might do a standard machine workout, and switch to Weider bars to do pull-ups and squats. You’ll still build muscle strength and endurance, but you won’t be using much weight.

Can you do cardio workouts?

Cardio workouts can also be done on Weider home gym exercises machines. Jumping jacks, bike rides, and long walks are great ways to burn calories and build endurance.

A cardio workout is an especially good choice if you are trying to lose weight or stay in shape since it’s much easier to do than with other types of machines.

Conclusion

Using Weider home gym exercises will provide you with a great workout that you can do at home and keep up with. There is no need to go anywhere else to work out, and you don’t need special equipment. Try a few different exercises and see what works best for you.
